Xyntha is completely albumin-free

XYNTHA is completely albumin-free

XYNTHA contains zero human or added animal materials from start to finish.XYNTHA starts with cells from a master cell bank. These cells are grown in a substance (called a culture) that contains no albumin.

XYNTHA is manufactured using Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cells from a master cell bank. These cells are grown in an albumin-free culture. XYNTHA contains trace amounts of hamster protein. You may develop an allergic reaction to these proteins. Tell your doctor if you have had an allergic reaction to hamster protein.

Initial purification

Initial purification

XYNTHA goes through 2 state-of-the-art filters designed with viral safety in mind.
This helps remove any unwanted materials, including potential viruses.

Unique synthetic ligand

Unique synthetic ligand

XYNTHA uses a man-made molecule, called a synthetic ligand, instead of molecules taken from humans or animals. The ligand acts like a magnet, collecting the XYNTHA molecules so they can be purified.

Nanofiltration

Nanofiltration

XYNTHA also goes through a second filtration step called nanofiltration.
That means that XYNTHA molecules are passed through a tiny filter.
